We are now inviting candidates to apply for the following position, which will be employed under John Swire & Sons (China) Limited - Shanghai Resident Office.


Receptionist / Administrative Assistant


  • Manage the reception area, and provide reception services professionally
  • Provide assistance in logistics arrangements for corporate events
  • Provide support on daily operations, including meeting room booking, office cleaning service management, and inventory management
  • Assist in the travel arrangement for the team, such as flight and hotel booking, and other travel requirements
  • Manage newspapers/magazines subscription for the Chief Representative and the Shanghai Resident Office
  • Perform other general secretarial tasks as required


To be successful in this role, you must have: 

  • Completed associate degree at least, with at least 2 years of experience providing administrative support or perfoming in a similar role
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage tasks concurrently within timeline
  • Strong international skills and professional business manners
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
