Hainan Daji Investment Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Swire Pacific Limited which is primarily used to hold onshore investments in the Chinese Mainland. Our Corporate Finance Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:

Finance Manager, Portfolio

Stationed in Shanghai, the Finance Manager is responsible for finance related matters under Swire Investments, including direct investments in funds, healthcare assets and other possible investments. The role would include budgeting, reporting and other portfolio management efforts that require on-the-ground support. He/she will also be responsible for managing and maintaining onshore entities that corporate finance set up in the Chinese mainland.



  • Liaise with Group Finance team to develop budget for Swire Investments
  • Manage accounting records, develop financial reports for Group Finance’s consolidation and reporting
  • Liaise with Group Finance and Treasury on other accounting/financial operations, such as cash management, capital drawdown and exits
  • Manage and maintain on-shore entities, including regular meetings with local authorities and tax bureau
  • Work with investee portfolio (funds and other non-healthcare assets) on regular reporting, capital calls, and provide on-the-ground support



  • Bachelor’s degree holder of finance or accounting attained in the Chinese Mainland, advanced degree obtained overseas is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, with at least 8 years in finance and accounting in the Chinese Mainland
  • Experience of working in international CPA firms is preferred
  • Fast learner on new industry and open to new challenges
  • Native command of Putonghua and fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Frequent travel within Chinese Mainland is expected
