John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Limited. Our Group Public Affairs Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:
Senior Officer, Group Public Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Group’s corporate websites and internal communications platform, ensuring content is accurate, up to date and accessible to stakeholders
- Support the production of annual and interim results materials, including translation coordination, report production and digital publication
- Manage corporate events and stakeholder engagement activities, including event planning, logistics and on-site execution
- Work with operating companies to ensure the consistent application of Group-wide branding and communications guidelines
- Manage the communication of corporate news, announcements and updates to media, investors and other stakeholder groups
- Monitor media coverage and public affairs issues relevant to the Group, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
- Support ad-hoc public affairs, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives as required
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or related disciplines
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public affairs or corporate communications, preferably in listed companies
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills with a proactive, agile mindset
- Sound proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with familiarity with generative AI tools, image and video editing tools, and content management systems
- Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua, traditional and simplified)
