Senior Manager, Recruitment

 

This job holder would lead our teams to develop and execute employer branding strategies, enhance employee value proposition, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the Swire Programmes and head office hires.  This role is critical in differentiating us as an employer of choice by depicting the employer brand and the unique employee value proposition of Swire, as well as creating exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process to attract high-quality candidates globally.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand workforce needs, provide guidance on recruitment best practices, and develop comprehensive hiring plans
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the organisation's business goals, considering the specific requirements of both Swire Programmes and head office recruitment
  • Regularly review recruitment processes to enhance candidate experience, improve process efficiencies, and reinforce diversity and inclusion commitments
  • Devise and execute sourcing and marketing strategies to expand the talent pipeline, and attract top and diverse candidates
  • Oversee the design and implementation of marketing campaigns, career events, and tailored content for target audiences
  • Develop a talent community management strategy and cultivate a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for Swire Programmes and head office recruitment
  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with external recruitment partners and vendors to support recruitment efforts
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and the HR Service Delivery Team to deliver a seamless and personalised onboarding experience for all staff
  • Utilise recruitment analytics and metrics to track trends, measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and initiatives, identify insights and areas for improvement
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, metrics, and progress to senior management
  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies, emphasising Swire's unique employee value proposition to attract top talent and enhance our reputation as an employer of choice
  • Support other assigned ad hoc tasks and HR projects

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum of 8 -12 years of HR experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading a modern recruitment function in sizable international corporations, including at least 5 years in recruitment leadership roles
  • Thorough understanding of talent acquisition strategies, techniques, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding. Strong adaptability to evolving recruitment trends and best practices
  • Experience in developing and executing employer branding strategies and enhancing employee value propositions
  • Proficiency in recruitment marketing and utilisation of social media platforms. Experience in writing recruitment marketing copy is preferred
  • Strong proficiency in applicant tracking systems and data-driven recruitment approaches
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • An employee-centric mindset and consistently strives for service excellence
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements 
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Chinese proficiency is advantageous
