Senior Manager, Infrastructure, Operations and Security

 

This role oversees IT infrastructure, Service Desk and Information Security at head office, aiming for operational and cybersecurity excellence to bolster the Company’s growth. It includes defining the strategic roadmap, policies and procedures to achieve an optimal level of IT services’ availability, and risk and cybersecurity management, while balancing business needs. 

 

In addition, the job holder ensures IT resilience, spearheads innovative strategies for efficiency, and seeks continuous improvement to self-service with digital tools to support the always-on workforce.
 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Operate a solid yet robust IT foundation to support daily operations and strategic growth 
  • Establish IT governance and compliance standards to support business-centric digital solutions, enforce adherence to these standards, and maintain robust policies for effective IT operations and infrastructure
  • Ensure IT Cybersecurity protocols and SecOps activities are carrired out to maintain strong digital defense 
  • Lead the strategic roadmap development, plan and execute technology initiatives that align with the organisation's vision, while proactively assessing new trends and solutions to enhance operational efficiency, security maturity, and cost-effectiveness
  • Oversee the ongoing improvement of Service Desk Operations, focusing on enhancing customer support experiences and ensuring timely resolution of IT issues
  • Manage and optimise resources allocation within the department, ensuring teams are well-equipped to meet operational demands effectively
  • Develop robust communication channels between departments, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives
  • Develop and oversee the budget for operational expenses and strategic projects, to align with planned objective

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • At least 10 years of working experience in IT infrastructure, cyber security projects and operations, with at least 6 years in managerial roles
  • Professional qualifications such as ITIL, MCSE, CCNP, AWS, CISSP would be desirable
  • Solid technical knowledge and experience in IT full cycle infrastructure management, cloud management, IT operations and Cyber security solutions planning, evaluation and rollout
  • Proven track records in IT development and execution, technology project planning and implementation, service delivery and monitoring, as well as budget and KPIs management 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing vendors, contractors and IT service providers 
  • Pro-active and with an innovative mindset to adopt new technologies and processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to a diverse audience
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
