Swire Foods group invests in and manages the development of various new food categories through its holding company Swire Foods Holdings Limited. The group manufactures, packages and distributes a variety of foodstuffs and beverage products under Swire Foods Trading (China), Taikoo Sugar and Chongqing New Qinyuan Bakery.

Swire Foods Trading (China) distributes food products under the “Taikoo” brand and other brands in Mainland China.

Iconic brand Taikoo Sugar was established by Swire in 1881 and refined sugar in Hong Kong for almost 90 years. Today, Taikoo Sugar packages and sells premium sugar products, branded and private label single-serve sachets of sugar, salt, pepper and tea to the retail and catering sectors in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The company also has a well-established export business, and currently markets branded sugar products in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North America.

With the expansion of the businesses, we have the following opening which calls for self-motivated and competent candidate urgently.


Job Duties:

  • Prepare and align sales budget of all products with our Hong Kong food service sales team and assigned distributor
  • Formulate policies and implement sales & marketing plans to achieve operating profit and expand market shares. Control expenses of the Department's sales and marketing costs within budget
  • Get involved in new products sales and marketing plans and lead the sales team to achieve the target
  • Manage distributor and ensure they could perform and achieve their assigned budget under the company policy
  • Responsible for deploying manpower and training, in collaboration with various channel development
  • Get involved in product development to meet future growth
  • Work closely with brand & category and marketing to launch out the sales and marketing plan
  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure the stock inventory should be maintained in appropriate level to cope with the sales trend
  • Prepare regular sales management reports for senior management’s reference
  • Be a team leader and encourage employee morale, to achieve budget revenues and profits of the company


Job Requirement:

  • Degree holder
  • More than 4 years of relevant sales experience in Food Service/Horeca industry (in the area of food items sales)
  • Exposure in corporate sales and food industry and with strong key account networks are preferred
  • Able to formulate sales strategies, manage a small team as well as possessing self-drive to achieve sales targets
  • Sound business acumen and results oriented
  • Good analytical ability
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
