Manager, HR Business Partnering (Programme)
As the Manager, HR Business Partnering (Programme), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Programme Staff. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on talent management and employee engagement, driving business success. This dynamic role requires a deep understanding of HR principles, strong business acumen, and the ability to seamlessly align HR strategies with our organisational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand organisational goals and align John Swire & Sons Hong Kong and programme staff with these objectives.
- Implement talent management strategies with Operating Companies, focusing on retention and employee development.
- Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution and employee grievances.
- Support organisational change initiatives and help employees navigate transitions.
- Identify skills gaps and development needs through conversations with Programme Staff and Operating Companies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead or participate in strategic HR projects, such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems, performance management software, and other HR technology platforms.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to interpret HR metrics and trends and make informed decisions.
- Understanding of HR processes such as recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
- Ability to leverage digital tools for HR strategy creation, team management, and budget tracking.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualisation tools.
- Proficiency in using online collaboration tools to promote information sharing and facilitate stakeholder communication.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 8 years in HR, preferably in a business partner role.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing HR operations in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organisational objectives.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages may be beneficial.
