Group Head of Diversity & Inclusion

The Group Head of D&I is accountable for ensuring Swire is an inclusive and encouraging working environment for all our employees regardless of their age, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship, family status, disability, race, ethnicity, nationality or religious or political view. To align and evolve the D&I strategy with the Group’s business imperatives, and to ensure the companies in the Swire Group are regarded as employers of choice.



  • Define and review D&I goals, timeline, requirement for group and operating companies 
  • Work with and support operating companies to develop guidelines and recommendations on people policies in building an inclusive workplace and gain approval from the board
  • Collect and analyze D&I/people data to measure progress, hold accountability and provide insights to make informed people and business decisions
  • Ensure D&I commitments are reflected in our attraction, development, retention, promotion, C&B and succession policies etc.
  • Share our D&I commitment and progress with external business partners and supply chain to support an inclusive business community
  • Conduct regular research on global D&I development, and work closely with government and regulatory bodies to influence public policies in relation to D&I 
  • Identify and work with credible NGOs and public institutions in promoting and demonstrating our D&I commitment, and being recognised as a D&I leader in major geographies where we operate



  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Science or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, with at least 7 years of strategy and business development and/or marketing communication experience
  • Proven track record in talent attraction, retention, and pipeline development
  • Passionate diversity, equity & inclusion advocate. Experienced in D&I research, trend, measurement, implementation
  • Highly skilled in leading and implementing large scale programmes and projects, and managing/influencing individuals from entry level to C-suites
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and/or Putonghua is desirable
