Group Diversity & Inclusion Manager

 

The Group Diversity & Inclusion Manager will support the Group Head of Diversity & Inclusion in creating an inclusive and supportive working environment for all our people by working with Swire group operating companies’ HRBPs and D&I committees to deliver on our D&I strategic framework. The Group Manager will work with the Analytics and Insights team to ensure the people and D&I data will provide insights and inform decisions to ensure we meet our D&I targets. S/he will take up an account service role for specific operating companies and act as subject-matter expert in one or more of the D&I focus areas. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with operating companies to implement D&I programmes/initiatives by ensuring key D&I performance indicators, goals, measurement, timeline and accountability are set. 
  • Review recruitment and talent development practice to ensure we capitalize on a diverse talent pool and use D&I data to drive and inform inclusive recruitment, retention, development and promotion processes.
  • Work with learning & development team(s) to promote and develop programmes to build awareness and enhance understanding of D&I issues for our staff.  
  • Provide coaching support on D&I issues for operating companies.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on best practice and trends especially on D&I focus area(s). 
  • Maintain and develop networks with diversity and inclusion related organizations and agencies to stay current with trends and regulations that may impact the Group’s business.
  • Work with Group Head to prepare annual plan and budget to deliver on agreed D&I goals. 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Science or related field; preferably with metrics and analytics background
  • Passionate diversity, equity & inclusion advocate.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years of people management experience. International/global exposure is ideal.
  • Proven knowledge in diversity & inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience in strategy, business development, and/or change management.
  • Highly skilled in advocating complex positions and managing/influencing individuals from entry level to C-suites.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, networking and influencing skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English. Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and/or Putonghua is desirable.
