John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Limited. Our Group Finance Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:
Financial Planning Manager
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with different divisions to collect information, and take lead to prepare the monthly report to the Board
- Contribute in preparing and reviewing the Group's monthly management accounts, budgets, interim and annual accounts, and other reports
- Evaluate and establish suitable accounting treatments and internal policies for transactions, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and management reporting requirements
- Take charge in presentations of budget, interim and annual analyst briefings, credit reviews, and other related financial information
- Review and advise on the enhancement of the department function's process and systems
- Perform other ad-hoc studies and analysis as required
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or above in related disciplines, with professional qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting. External audit experience from professional services firm is preferred
- Sound experience in financial modelling
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- The self-motivation, and are organised with strong analytical skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
