We are currently recruiting an experienced HR leader to join our Swire HR Leadership Programme. The Programme is a structured specialist leadership development programme which will provide you with targeted training, development, coaching and rotations approximately every 3 years across HR disciplines and/or Swire companies. The purpose of this programme is to build and develop a capable pool of HR leaders with the potential to progress into Senior HR leadership roles. The programme offers development and broad career opportunities across HR functions and the Swire group of companies.

The successful candidate will be seconded to Swire Coca-Cola, Director, Talent & Engagement as first role on the programme. This role plays a key part in upskilling our people to achieve organisational vision and goals. This role will lead on the design and delivery of leadership, talent management and engagement initiatives and implementation of HR transformation programmes to support Swire Coca-Cola’s strategic priorities across different operating regions, including Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the USA. 




  • Deliver an integrated people strategy for Talent Management, Engagement and Diversity. This includes creating and owning the strategies and plan to attract, develop and retain talent and develop a diverse, engaged workforce.

  • Contribute to building frameworks and strategies by working with Swire Group, Swire Coca-Cola regional and local HR teams to co-design fit-for-purpose approach, metrics and tools.

  • Work with the HR team to create a fully diverse, engaged and unified organisation, leveraging all types of cultural differences, emphasising the importance of the employee experience and championing company values. 



Key Accountabilities:


  • Talent Management & Succession Planning: Develop talent management & succession planning strategy and design talent management framework, tools, and processes to build a robust talent pipeline at all levels across the operating units.

  • Leadership & Talent Development: Develop and review Leadership and Functional Competencies Framework to be integrated into employee lifecycle. Design and implement talent development programmes for leaders at different levels and assessment / development centre for critical positions; work closely with Swire Group HR Leadership Development team in managing the career development of participants in the Swire Management Programme and the implementation of Swire Group Internship Programme at Swire Coca-Cola.

  • Diversity & Inclusion: Act as a D&I advocate. Develop D&I strategy and 5-year plan, and ensure D&I policies, procedure and programmes are in place across regions to create an inclusive working environment.

  • Performance Management: Introduce Goal-Setting and Performance Management progammes and continue to enhance performance management processes and system to drive high performance culture.

  • Employer Value Proposition and Engagement: Drive the implementation of EVP through employer branding activation activities and enhance Employee Engagement by designing and implementing listening strategy across regions including employee engagement survey, action planning workshop. 

  • HR Transformation: Work closely with the HR transformation team in implementing HR projects, including but not limited to Talent Management Suite (e.g., Performance Management, Learning Management, Succession Planning, Career Planning) and Career Framework / Functional Competencies design to improve operational efficiency and enhance employee experience.


Candidate Requirements:


  • Passionate about developing a career within the Swire group across HR disciplines 

  • Driven and ambitious with strong leadership potential 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in HR management, Psychology, Business Administration or related principles

  • At least 12 years of practical experience in Human Resources and a focus on Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organisational Development; preferably with work experience in MNC and matrix work environment

  • Experience in people management and leading a team, and project management

  • Solid experience with track records in designing and implementing Talent Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Assessment and Development initiatives

  • Accredited users of psychometric assessment tools (e.g. Lominger Architect, MBTI, Hogan Assessment, Aon cut-e, SHL OPQ, etc.)

  • Certified trainer for leadership programme (i.e. Performance Management, Situational Leadership etc.)

  • Executive Coach will be an advantage

  • Track record on Talent Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Assessment and Development

  • Excellent stakeholder management communication and influencing skill

  • Achievement-driven, resilient, and result-oriented with can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent command of English and Putonghua

  • Regular duty travel to the Chinese mainland required
