Assistant Manager, HR Service Delivery
As the Assistant Manager, HR Service Delivery, you will help deliver accurate, responsive and compliant HR services across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with employees, managers, People Department colleagues and service providers, you will manage core HR operations covering payroll, employee movements, benefits, HR records and employee enquiries. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys solving operational issues, bringing structure to HR processes and driving practical improvements to service delivery and employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR operational services across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee movements, contract changes and offboarding
- Coordinate monthly payroll activities, validate inputs, liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely, authorised submission
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of employment documentation, personnel records and HR system data with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and compliance
- Administer employee benefits and staff-related programmes, including enrolment, changes and coordination with internal teams and external providers
- Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing clear guidance on HR processes, policies, documentation and system requirements
- Manage enquiries through to resolution and coordinate across the People Department, Finance, operating companies and service providers to deliver a seamless service experience
- Review HR workflows and service practices, and support process improvements, system enhancements, and responsible adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools
- Support HR Service Delivery projects, cross-functional initiatives, and operational reporting, while identifying and escalating operational, data or compliance risks where appropriate
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant HR operations or service delivery experience, preferably gained within a sizeable or multi-entity organization, with hands-on exposure to payroll, employee lifecycle and benefits administration
- Sound knowledge of Hong Kong employment legislation and HR policies
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities independently and accurately
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills, supported by a service-oriented and practical approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and HR information systems, preferably SuccessFactors and SAP, together with experience in process, system or digital enhancements
- Familiarity with emerging AI-powered tools and the ability to apply them appropriately to enhance productivity and day-to-day work effectiveness
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
