Assistant Manager, Archive Engagement & Communications
Swire Archives’ mission is to provide archives service and stakeholder engagement service to Swire group companies in Hong Kong and Asia.
The job holder will support the overall running of the stakeholder engagement service function and the communications of Swire Archives, including coordinating events and activities, as well as providing event management support to organisers using the Swire Archive Centre’s engagement facilities. The role will also assist in the promotion and communications of the Archives to support the building of Swire's brands, including hosting guided tours, proposing and drafting newsletters and different communication articles, supporting video production, etc.
Responsibilities:

- Undertake the proposal, design, and execution of stakeholder and community engagement activities, and to collaborate with operating companies for event management within Swire Archives' service scope
- Host visits and tours for group companies’ stakeholders, such as, staff, tenants, club members, youth groups and interest groups in the community, students with extracurricular interest, etc.
- Undertake the coordination, logistics, facilities, and equipment setup for various activities, such as, visits, tours, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops
- Support Swire Archives' outreach work, including creating contents for newsletters and leaflets, involving in promotional materials, and building network within the archives field
- Perform other supports, such as, upkeep engagement-related procedures and provide backup administrative support for engagement activities
- Assist in sourcing funding and partnership opportunities for outreach or engagement initiatives, and taking part in heritage activities arranged by clients or stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you must have:

- A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Communications, Public Affairs, Business Administration, Linguistics, Cultural Studies or related disciplines.
- 5 - 8 years’ experience in corporate communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, event management, with great passion for heritage and excellent storytelling abilities
- Strong command of both written and oral English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua. Good writing skills with experience in writing corporate materials and content
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in photographing, filming, and editing with relevant software is an advantage
- Committed to teamwork and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with people of all levels, from corporate to community
- Flexibility to work out of office time or weekend, if required
