John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Ltd. Our Finance & Accounts Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:

 

Project Assistant (2-year contract)

This role aims to support Finance & Accounts operations during the evaluation and implementation of SAP S4 Hana financial system project.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist System Analyst and work with the project team in implementing SAP S4 Hana financial system
  • Perform daily accounting functions including data input, AP vouchers, issuances of invoices and handle staff expenses reimbursement etc.
  • Assist in month-end closing and reporting, budget and forecast
  • Help execute monthly inter-company reconciliation and accounts reconciliation
  • Support other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the team

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in accounting is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP system would be a plus
  • Working level of verbal and written English and Chinese
  • Attentive to details, well organised and willingness to learn
  • Able to work well in a team environment
