John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Limited. Our Group Finance Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:

Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts and month-end closing for companies within the Healthcare sector and other assigned business divisions

• Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules, management reports and financial analysis

• Review and consolidate budgeting and forecasting to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic business goals

• Manage local statutory audits and tax filings to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Work closely with the finance teams of business divisions and provide guidance on daily accounting and financial operations

• Perform ad-hoc analysis and assignments as and when required

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related disciplines, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Candidate with experience in external audit is an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent
• A detail mind, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a good team player
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience in using SUN Accounting system and consolidation systems such as Oracle HFM, and CCH Tagetik solution
