Corporate Communications Specialist

This person will play an active role in strategic communications of the Swire story and brand values in the Chinese Mainland to internal and external stakeholders, particulary through social media channels.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in overall strategy development and content planning of Swire China social media platforms
• Working closely with social media agency to manage Swire China social media platforms on a daily basis, and develop creative and engaging content
• To liaise and engage regularly with communication teams in Group’s operating companies to generate content idea and storyline
• Develop creative engagement activities/games on Swire China social media platforms with the support from social media agency
• Assist in organising media engagement events in the Chinese Mainland
• Assist in organising internal and external stakeholder engagement events in the Chinese Mainland
• Support operating companies' in the Chinese Mainland, on social media and public affairs activities as needed
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by Chief Communications Offer and Head of Corporate Communications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree or above in Communication, Journalism, English or related discipline
• Thorough understanding on social media landscape with local market insights in the Chinese Mainland
• Minimum 3 years’ experience gained in PR agencies or in-house corporate communication roles with social media experience a must
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong network of contacts and liaison within the Group  
• Good organization skills, with attention to details and high level of accuracy
• Strong capability inf working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
